Soooooooooooo

The teary-ness has set in. James comes home and gloriously takes care of the older 3 but often that means leaving the house to go outside or whatnot and I am just here with the girls yet again. I cry over anything...the 2-2.5 hour stretches of sleep don't help at all, plus recovering from a c-section just blows. Madelyn is now screaming after just having been fed so I must go!

HUGS!

I hear you. I'm still way too teary. The hungry after a feeding is getting really old, here, too!!! I'll feed them, they'll fall asleep. Then I'll switch sides and feed them again. They fall asleep. As SOON as I put them down, they want to eat more. UGH!!!

At least they're really cute and sweet. :)

Awe, darlin. It's a lot w/o hormones, add those and it's emotional chaos. If I were closer I'd sit with you for hours (of course James would have a few more to chase outside in that case).

Myself, I can't see a newborn w/o tearing up. All I wanted was one more.

Ha! Guess you could say the same!

Peaches, cream, roses and everything nice wished at you from here.

Thinking of you, once you start getting sleep it will be a bit more clear!

I was so surprised after my daughter was born when the teary-ness set in. It was so overwhelming and uncontrollable.

Hang in there and utilize as much help as you can. When someone asks if they can help, always say yes. People love to be a part of twins - even if it's washing dishes or doing laundry for a twin mom. You need as much help as you can get right now! My Mom stayed with me for three weeks, my husband was home 90% of that time, we didn't have any other kids and we still needed help. It made such a difference. The c-section recovery time is rough. It crushes your stamina, and makes you so tired and sore. Good luck. You will find a routine that works and it will in time seem "easy”. (You haven't heard from me before, but I have followed your blog from Kristen Rieman and anxiously awaited the announcement that your girls were born. Just ask if you need any tips or tricks that helped.)
